If the past announcement schedule is any clue, we should expect the Cubs to announce the 2019 Convention guests and general schedule information on January 14th or 15th.

It will be most interesting to see if Addison Russell will be attending. I would guess that the Cubs won't have him available for obvious reasons.

DeleteDo you know from past events what time the events starts on Friday evening? I am coming from out of town and was hoping to know if I need to take time off work.
ReplyDeleteOpening ceremony starts at 6:00. People will wait in line many hours to be the first in and/or get folding chair seats. It will take time to get goody bag, voucher, and program of in the registration line. You can watch opening ceremony from the back standing without getting there super early.
ReplyDeleteJody Davis just got announced as the manager of the Louisville Bats today. They are the AAA affiliate of the Reds. Leon Bull Durham will be the batting coach there as well. Hopefully Jody can convince the Bull to come to convention if he has been invited! Would love to see him there!
