2018 Convention - Sheraton Sold Out in Matter of Hours

The Cubs made the rooms for the 2018 Cubs Convention at the Sheraton available this morning at 10:00 a.m. and they were sold out within just hours.  If you are planning to attend the Convention, to be held January 12 through 14, you will need to make other arrangements!

Weekend passes will be made available at a later date.  Last year, the passes cost $108, not including convenience and ordering fees.

  1. Sold out in hours? It sure seemed like minutes -- and I got my passes and 1 night of hotel at the Sheraton! 6th Convention - but first staying at the hosting hotel! I usually find another hotel closeby.

Anyone else have luck today? I even got a good room (for the same price) - it has the word "deluxe" in it. :-)

  2. Yes sir. I booked more than 1 room easily this year. I'm actually quite surprised it was that easy.

  7. Sad to say this but scalpers always win. Money talks. We can all complain etc.. but in the end you just have to be on top of your game when they sell the convention passes and rooms. It's basically first come first serve. Its the luck of the draw. If you were a true die-hard fan like many of you say you are you would already know this. Money talks.

  8. Hey if they have the money for 10 rooms more power to them. You can't really get upset because they are doing better than you in life. Quit being cry babies and just sick it up. Your crying isn't gonna change anything.

  9. It's funny how everyone wants to blame the scalpers. The cubs scalp there own tickets. Wrigleyfieldpremium.com it's the only licensed ticket broker endorsed by the Chicago cubs.

  10. I'm curious how much does a room for both nights and 2 passes cost at the regular price. I didn't get a room at the Sheraton, so I just booked a room at the Best Western River North. They have double bed rooms right at $100. It seems like a deal. Well that was acutally only Friday night. Maybe saturday is more.
